Lewis Chaney is a talented and gifted director of photography. He has been creating short films since the 90’s, but hadn’t attempted to move to features until recently. victimEYES is his foray into the world of long form visual storytelling and it’s been an experience for him. One taking years instead of months.
The shooting phase seemed relatively easy compared to the setbacks he has faced during the editing process. Computers crashing, hard drives sputtering, sound dropping, and the other usual horrors facing the home editor. Fast forward to 2008 where the film is finally nearing completion. Lewis has made available to us the original trailer he cut a time long ago. It’s a special gift for the audience of this blog.
