victimEYES | A Lewis D. Chaney Film

Talk about a slow cooker, my good friend and colleague, Lewis D. Chaney has been slowly pecking away at this feature film thriller since Winter of 2005.
In Lewis’ own words, he explains the delay….
This movie was shot from August til October 2005 and is to be premiered in the fall. I have spent HUNDREDS of [...]

Just a cool photo….

No video on this post, just something for the true horrorphile and all American male in all of us!

ABADDON | Update with Video

A few weekends ago, Derek Mullins and I reworked the opening sequence of the script. We were still hindered by shitty sets and a limited time frame, but this time we redesigned the lighting and the music tracks and ended up with this.
There are several sound effects missing. A couple of shots were [...]

Hallows Eve | Slaughter on 2nd Street

This production comes from Owensboro, Kentucky. It seems to have a lot going for it. Excellent lighting, good photography, and better then the usual acting found in this type of low budget horror. The writer/director of this genre piece is P.J. Starks.
There will be an upcoming charity showing soon. Here are [...]

12/24 | Another Low Budget Zombie Fest

Christmas Eve, a wonderful time of year. Presents, mistletoe, eggnog, and gushing blood from an exit wound.
Gargoyle Entertainment has released a trailer for it’s soon to be released horror entry, 12/24. Full of shambling mounds of Undead, gratuitous gunplay, car crashes, and boobs, I’m especially fond of the ceiling fan scene.
See for yourself

ABADDON | The Opening Sequence

Yes, boys and girls, I’ve been a bad webmaster. It’s been a week or more since I last posted any updates about any genre projects, including anything about my own Hero/Horror film, ABADDON.
Well, the reason I’ve been a bit lax in the posting is because I’ve been a busy little filmmaker, trying [...]

BLOOD | The Last Vampire

I’ve read articles on numerous movie sites spouting how “highly anticipated” this film is.  I’m not sure the average genre fan knows about this flick, but I do agree it comes from an excellent pedigree.  I’ll check it out when it hits DVD.
The trailer is pretty cool, though.

Night of the Demons | The Remake

One of my favorite B-Movies from the 1980’s was “Night of the Demons.”
Boobs, sex, parties, blood !
What wouldn’t a young adult male not like about this flick?
The new producers are promising a lot more. From their blog.
…What does your typical demon do when it’s not wreaking havoc, possessing hapless partygoers and heralding in the [...]

My Demon Within

I’m an internet addict. I love the freedom that the web has given to producers of new media to publish their works for the general public to see.
Let me preface this by saying that there is a lot of trash you have to wad through to find those few gems that really stand out. MY [...]

The Anathema Report

Since all the archives from the last two months have been corrupted on the Digital Spectrum Films server.  I’m going to use this opportunity to rewrite some of the past articles I’ve authored to this ever growing genre fan audience.
Evansville, Indiana is not an artistic dead zone when it comes to creative motion picture storytelling.  [...]
